OVERVIEW
API’s are routines, protocols, and tools that specify how software components should interact with each other. Salesforce places restrictions and limits on the use of APIs in orgs. These restrictions can lead to problems when using the Cloud Coach packages.
Some of the most common signs that API restrictions are still enabled are:
- My Assignments will not load
- Timecard does not load (for Professional and up)
- Product search loads incorrectly
HOW TO DISABLE API RESTRICTIONS
CLASSIC USERS:
Click Setup → Create → Installed Packages → Relevant package (e.g. Professional)→ Click on the ‘Disable Restrictions’ link
LIGHTNING USERS:
Go to: Setup → Apps → Installed Packages → Relevant package (e.g. Professional)→ Click on the ‘Disable Restrictions’ link
