STANDARD SECURITY
Permission Sets:
The security model of Fundamentals was purposely made simple to make administering the product as easy as possible. Out of the box there are two permission sets:
CCMI | Minimum User Permissions – grants a user access to all standard Fundamentals functionality and views. A user with this permission set assigned can create their own projects, view projects that aren’t their own, and manage their tasks and projects.
CCMI | Admin Permissions – permits exactly the same functionality but also includes the ability to load sample data. This is useful for Partners or Users who need to demo or test the product but do not want to spend time creating sample projects.
For more information about this type of security, please see Admin Guide: Project Permissions and Assign Permission Sets
Sample Data:
To access the sample data page, simply go to the Getting Started tab and select Setup Sample Data.

Other Considerations:
While Fundamentals provides a simple, permissions-based security model out of the box, it’s also possible to create a custom security model. Organizations have the option of:
- Creating custom permission sets with more or less restrictive object and field level visibility
- Setting organization wide default object settings Private and selectively granting access using Sharing Rules.
